Occupational Therapy
The Occupational Therapy Care Departments provides comprehensive, multi-disciplinary assessments and treatment of all areas of social, emotional, behavioral and motor skill development.
The assessment process includesSpeech meeting with the parents and the child. The assessment utilizes various standardized tests, clinical observations, and a detailed parent interview and questionnaire. Parents are encouraged to bring previous assessments and reports from health care professionals and any pertinent school documents. The assessment is then summarized in a written report, which is used as a baseline for the intervention process. We provide the parents with a comprehensive report that explains clinical findings and offers recommendations and practical strategies for the home and school environment.
