About Me:
Ms.shaheema kizhakkoot is an occupational therapist with the Department of child psychiatry and pediatrics disorders, She also uses Sensory Integration interventions and Neuro Developmental Therapy.Al Fasht Medical Centre, Sharjah. Ms. Shaheema received her bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from Kovai Medical Center Hospital (KMCH), Dr. MGR Medical University, Tamil Nadu, and India in 2013. , Her training included an internship program that provided her ample exposure and training in, pediatrics and child psychiatry. Ms. Shaheema has been pursuing her Continuing Educational Programs and treatment and in the assessment, treatment of other psychological disorders like Autism spectrum disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Hand writing skill development and the common childhood mental illnesses. School-Based Intervention with Special Interest in Handwriting; Early Detection of Children with Learning Issues. A creative presenter and articulate speaker, Mrs. Shaheema has been invited to speak on topics like Childhood disorders, identification and treatments of childhood disorders, she has also been engaged in life skills training.

Since 2013, [5 years of experience].She is a member of All India Occupational Therapists Association (AIOTA) and has a professional Occupational Therapy license from the MOH, UAE.
