Miss Zobia Amin is child and Adult Psychologist with department of Psychology and Psychotherapy, Al Fasht Medical Centre. Miss Zobia Amin received her MS Clinical Psychology degree from Government College University, Lahore, Pakistan. Her research area was “Relationship between Obsessive Compulsive Symptoms of (OCD) and problems faced by Students”.
She worked as Consultant Clinical Psychologist for 7 years with Recovery Center, Lahore Pakistan dealing with children, adults and adolescents with different psycho, social, academic, addiction, neuropsychiatric patients, developmental disorders, inter and intra personal relationship issues. She used eclectic approach with the clients as all individual are unique using Hypnosis, Psychoanalysis, CBT, Gestalt therapy, Behavior modification, 12 steps with addict patient and Projective techniques (both to assess and as therapy).
Miss Zobia Amin worked more than 2 years in Oasis Trust School for kids with autism where she trained teachers and made behavior modification plans for the parents, and was in charge of circle time to improve socializing skills in the children. She worked 3 years as Clinical Counsellor in the University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore, Pakistan. She counsel both students and staff through assessment and psychotherapies. She was involved in training and managing behaviors of Day Care of the UMT through conducting workshops for both caregivers and the mothers.
Miss Zobia Amin has participated in national and international conferences in Pakistan and UAE. She presented her 6 case studies in different national and international conferences. She conducted different workshops on different topics including self-growth, parenting, stress management, assertiveness, relationships, covid 19 and future, projective techniques and other life skills in different universities of Pakistan.
