Hafsa Iqbal is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in child, adolescent and adult psychology with an emphasize in the treatment of Neurodevelopmental Disorders especially Autism spectrum disorders and other Psychological disorders like depressive disorders, anxiety disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder. She is also an EMDR Europe accredited practitioner. She holds bachelors, masters and MPhil degree in psychology and has also done masters in special education. She published her research paper on DEPRESSION AND SELFESTEEM AMONG PREOPERATIVE AND POST OPERATIVE BREAST CANCER PATIENTS IN PESHAWAR in North American academic research. She has experience in psychological assessment and psych educational assessment. She has sufficient experience in dealing with child and adults having emotional concerns, behavioral and personality difficulties of different nationalities. She has experience in different psychotherapies like applied behavior analysis, cognitive behavior therapy, trauma focused cognitive behavior therapy, eye movement desensitization reprocessing, stress management, eclectic approach and dialectic behavior therapy. She believes that the key to successfully achieving the client’s goals and wellbeing is by having an effective therapeutic relationship built on empathy, acceptance and compassion.
